Once taken out of production (by humans) due to how intense and hyperactive they could be, they were reactivated after the passing of the 2068 Law of Awareness. NEW POST: If you paid attention to the cool “Toys Are Us” exhibition last month, then you noticed @LYS0L ’s über-sweet new resin action figure “Nex.” During the show there were three versions available but only two were listed as exclusives… the third, pictured above, was always intended to be the original colorway and the one the artist wanted most people to be able to buy. NEW POST: What’s your one stop shop this week… our I guess in this case, your two stop shop as the folks behind both Mighty Jaxx and Plastic Foundry are releasing some seriously cool art pieces, all of which I am sure will tickle your fancy. First up, the brand new resin Hug the Killer “BLEU” edition. This piece is limited to just 50 pieces, and is painted in light blue… oh,and if you are familiar with other Mighty Jaxx releases… this Hug the Killer is compatible with the previously released Tomenosuke Bad Apple exclusive. NEW POST: The double cast phenomenon started with Scott Wilkowski’s contribution for the Custom Yoka Show that debuted at the 2009 DesignerCon and toured around the country in 2010. Wilkowski also launched his Infected concept with that show, making — I believe — three colorways of resin skeletal system inside resin cast Yoka exterior: silver, orange with black, and black with concussion. It was a fantastic and innovative design that, if memory serves, was used on the front of the show flyers even. Well, now Wilkowski is revisiting it, issuing forth the “Original Cave Bear” version of the Infected Yoka figure, with light green skeletal system inside a purple Yoka-shaped shell. NEW POST: Hard to believe that only last year we all had a Swanicorn-shaped hole in our hearts that needed filling, but it’s true… Tomorrow (May 12th, 2013) marks the celebration of Daniel Fleres’s Swanicorn turning a full year old! And what would a Swanicorn party be without, well, Swanicorns?
